BAYS Technology Inc. is a Vancouver-area company focused on proactive property-risk prevention, developing integrated solutions for early fire detection, water-damage prevention, security monitoring and automated response (smart water valves, fire-detection devices, gateways, cameras, alarm sensors, smart-access products).
We are seeking an experienced Vice President for executive leadership of corporate strategy, company-wide operations, global supply chain and manufacturing oversight. This position reports to the President and the Board.

Main duties
- Establish mission, strategy and objectives for the company
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate overall operations including administration, global sourcing, procurement, supplier/manufacturer coordination, production planning, QA, inventory, logistics and delivery
- Translate President/Board priorities into business plans and budgets
- Direct business strategy, financial analysis and forecasting
- Authorize departmental organization
- Allocate resources and approve major procurement, investment and staffing plans
- Coordinate engineering, software, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, sales, finance and customer service
- Develop global supply-chain strategy and oversee manufacturing of connected devices
- Approve supplier standards and lead negotiations
- Establish controls for supplier performance, quality, safety, compliance and cybersecurity
- Review KPIs and direct corrective action
- Select and supervise managers
- Represent the company with external partners
Requirements
- University degree or college diploma in business, commerce, supply-chain, operations, engineering or a related field (a master’s degree is an asset)
- 5+ years of senior management experience with 10+ years in a related industry
- International supplier, procurement, logistics and contract-manufacturing experience is an asset
- Strategic leadership, decision-making, financial, negotiation, communication and risk-management skills
