Position Info:
- Position: Food Service Supervisor
- Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
- Wage: $23.00-$25.00/hour (depending on experience)
- Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
- Number of Positions: 1
- Work Location: 702 Vernon Street, Nelson, BC V1L 4G2

Job Duties:
- Direct staff workflows on the floor to ensure consistent food preparation and service
- Restock inventory and kitchen supplies to maintain necessary stock levels during shifts
- Demonstrate technical duties, safety, and sanitation standards to new employees
- Estimate ingredient needs based on daily demand and place routine supply orders
- Monitor staffing levels during shifts and flag gaps to the assistant manager
- Check food presentation and service quality on the line for consistency
- Log daily sales, waste, and inventory figures for reporting purposes
- Resolve routine guest complaints on the floor and escalate unresolved issues upward
Job requirements:
- Language: English
- Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience, is required
