• Position: Restaurant Manager
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $38.50/hour
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

Job Duties:

• Oversee and coordinate daily restaurant operations to ensure efficient service and customer satisfaction
• Develop and manage operating budgets, monitor sales and expenses, and implement strategies to maintain profitability
• Plan staff schedules and manage labour costs according to business needs and customer demand
• Recruit, train, and supervise kitchen and service staff to maintain consistent operational standards
• Evaluate employee performance and provide guidance to improve productivity and service quality
• Work with kitchen staff to review menu offerings, food costs, and pricing for Japanese dishes
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate the purchasing of food, beverages, and restaurant supplies
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and maintain reliable product availability
• Establish and enforce restaurant procedures to ensure efficient workflow and consistent service
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace health and safety requirements
• Review daily sales and financial records to identify opportunities for cost control and operational improvement
• Address customer complaints and resolve service-related concerns in a professional manner

Job requirements:

• Experience: 3-5 years of supervisory experience in the food service industry is required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Language: English
