Requirements
Some Secondary School Education (Mandatory)
Optional: ECE Certificate or related Training
Good Communication Skills in English (Other Languages are an asset)
Experience
No Experience Required, On-The-Job Training would be provided.
Your Job duties are not limited to but includes the following:
1. Assist ECE staff in providing care and support to children attending charitable programs.
2. Support Educational, recreational and play-based activities for children from underserved families.
3. Help provide daily care, meals, hygiene and other basic support to children in need.
4. Assist with children's programs organized to support vulnerable and low-income families in the community.
5. Prepare learning materials and activity areas for community-based children's programs.
6. Provide individual attention and encouragement to children requiring additional support.
7. Assist with family and community outreach activities involving children and caregivers.
8. Help maintain a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment for children served by the organization.
9. Help distribute educational materials and basic supplies to children and families in need.
10. Assist with fund raising events and community programs for children and families.
