Description

YYC Compassionate Caregivers Limited is seeking two full-time disability support workers. Previous experience caring for older adults or individuals with disabilities, Alzheimer’s disease, or terminal illnesses is considered an asset. Applicants must be proficient in English and have completed Grade 12. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Administer bedside and personal care.
  2. Administer medications.
  3. Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  4. Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk.
  5. Change non-sterile dressings.
  6. Feed or assist in feeding.
  7. Mend clothing and linens.
  8. Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  9. Provide companionship.
  10. Provide personal care.
  11. Prepare and serve nutritious meals.

Credentials required:

  1. First Aid Certificate
  2. Health Care Aide Certificate
  3. Personal Support Worker Certificate
