Bibo Pizzeria is seeking F/T Head Chefs.

Position Info:

• Position: Head Chef
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $38.50-$40.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  2
• Work Location: 7899 Templeton Station Rd, Unit 1067C, Richmond, BC V7B 0B7

Job Duties:

• Prepare and finalize signature pizzas and specialty dishes, setting the quality and presentation benchmark for the kitchen
• Oversee kitchen staff during service, including cooks and food preparation workers, to maintain workflow and consistency
• Direct cooks in proper cooking, garnishing and plating methods for all menu items
• Develop and refine menu items and recipes based on seasonal ingredients, customer feedback and food cost targets
• Guide kitchen staff in food handling, sanitation practices and cooking procedures
• Accommodate customer requests related to food allergies and dietary restrictions by modifying dishes as needed
• Introduce new cooking techniques and kitchen equipment to staff and demonstrate proper use
• Order food products and kitchen supplies from suppliers based on projected needs
• Coordinate equipment purchases, servicing and repairs with vendors as required
• Track food and supply costs, inventory levels and sales records to support budgeting and cost control

Job requirements:

• Language: English
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Experience: A minimum of five years of commercial cooking experience including supervisory experience is required
