• Position: Restaurant Manager
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $40.00/hr
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  1
• Location: 10833 160 St Unit 601, Surrey, BC V4N 1P3

Job Duties:

• Review operating budgets, revenues and expenses to support profitability and control restaurant costs
• Assess day-to-day restaurant operations and identify areas requiring operational improvement
• Monitor sales and staffing expenses to maintain appropriate labour costs and efficient staffing levels
• Plan, coordinate and oversee daily front-of-house and back-of-house restaurant activities
• Prepare employee work schedules based on business volume and operational requirements
• Hire, train, supervise and provide ongoing direction to restaurant employees
• Evaluate employee performance and ensure established service and operating standards are consistently maintained
• Establish and implement restaurant procedures to support efficient food service and customer operations.
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding food, ingredients and other restaurant supplies, including pricing and delivery requirements
• Oversee inventory levels and arrange replenishment of food, beverages and operating supplies as required
• Ensure restaurant operations comply with applicable food safety, workplace health and safety, and sanitation requirements
• Resolve customer concerns and service issues in a professional and timely manner

Job Requirements:

• Language: English
• Experience: 3-5 years of supervisory experience in the food service industry is required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
