Benefits:

Job Duties:
- Assemble and finish Japanese dishes, following the restaurant's recipes and plating standards
- Adjust dishes for customers with allergies or restrictions, substituting ingredients where needed
- Operate kitchen equipment such as grills and knives safely during service
- Portion dishes according to recipe standards to support the restaurant's food cost targets
- Monitor inventory levels during prep and flag kitchen supply needs to the supervisor
- Demonstrate cooking techniques and reinforce food handling standards when training new kitchen staff
- Sanitize kitchen surfaces, equipment, and work stations after each shift
Job requirements:
- Language: English
- Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
- Experience: 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience is required.
